Got a call from (800)214-4222. It was a recorded message saying that my credit card companies were going to reduce my credit limit and they could reduce it even less. The recording told me to stay on the line to get more information about the offer, which sounded pretty sketchy. I could not remember my interest rates but I eventually went through the rest of the message and could not get my attention to continue, so I hung up and blocked the call.

This is an auto dialer. It calls every phone number in a specific order so that it not dials the number by one number and then dials the other. So far is is an order of 25 numbers. It is programmed to call you. It is a phone scam and it is illegal. Just ignore it. You may be called by this company a dozen times. You will hear someone on the line, then it disconnects. It does not do anything it just hangs up again.

I just got the same call from this number! Said the exact same thing. I am so tired of these type of calls! I am about to file a police report for the harassment and they keep calling me.

I think it may be part of the "spam filter" program by Verizon. If you have a new phone number, most likely, someone is "spoofing" that number to make it appear you have a valid call.
